Unlike most matcha, this matcha is produced in small batches from just one garden.
Grown using solar-powered panels to offset the power needs of the factory, this tea is grown using all-natural cultivation. This is unusual in Japan where many farms use conventional chemicals. The tea is then processed using traditional stone-mill to make incredibly fine matcha powder.
Creamy in texture, grassy and softly nutty, with an earthy undertone. Light umami. Bittersweet, with a fragrant sweet aftertaste.
